FAQ:
How long does a windshield replacement take?
On average, we will need the vehicle for 4 hours. Some vehicles with advanced driver assist features like lane departure warning systems that need calibration can take longer, and those vehicles we usually ask to keep for the whole day.
Once the windshield is installed, the vehicle must sit for 1 hour for the urethane to cure before it can be driven.
Do you do insurance claims? If so, how does that work?
We do almost every insurance company available, from ICBC to Family, BCAA, and many others. Almost all insurance claims can be started when you arrive for your appointment, we take care of the claim process start to finish, all you need to do is pay the deductible when work is complete and sign the claim form!
How much is the deductible?
Ordinarily, the deductible for comprehensive is $300. This deductible is often reduced to $200 for windshield replacements where the damage is caused by rock chips or flying objects. Sometimes the deductible can be higher, at which point we can decide if perhaps it is more cost-efficient to pay without going through insurance.
If I don't have insurance, how much is a windshield?
Every vehicle is different, and costs can vary greatly depending what make, model, and options the vehicle has. It is best to call us for an accurate quote, and we can give that easily over the phone or via email!
